ABOUT THE JOB:

Anduril is seeking a highly skilled Software Product Manager to lead the development of next-generation factory scheduling software. The successful candidate will own the product lifecycle from vision and requirements gathering through delivery and iteration. This role requires strong product management expertise, experience with manufacturing systems, and the ability to translate complex factory needs into intuitive, scalable digital solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing software products in industrial or enterprise environments, with deep familiarity in technologies such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).

This role is critical to shaping how our digital scheduling tools optimize production throughput, enable traceability, and improve operational efficiency across modern factory floors.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Define and own the product vision and roadmap for factory scheduling software.
  • Gather and prioritize requirements from cross-functional stakeholders (engineering, operations, supply chain, factory leadership).
  • Translate requirements into clear product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with engineering teams to design, build, and release scheduling features and integrations.
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing and operations teams to validate workflows and ensure adoption.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs to measure product performance and impact on factory efficiency.
  • Manage the product backlog, balance priorities, and ensure timely delivery of releases.
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders by facilitating clear communication and structured decision-making.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in smart factory systems, scheduling algorithms, and digital thread integration.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Manager for enterprise or industrial software.
  • Strong understanding of product management frameworks and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Superior communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP, PLM, and MES systems, and their role in factory operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and launch digital tools that improve operational workflows.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
  • Experience building or integrating factory scheduling, production planning, or manufacturing optimization software.
  • Knowledge of advanced scheduling algorithms, optimization, or digital twin concepts.
  • Background in software product development for industrial or defense manufacturing environments.
  • Agile or Scrum Product Owner certification (CSPO, SAFe POPM, etc.).

US Salary Range
$154,000$231,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
