Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

At Anduril Australia we are developing uncrewed systems for operations in many domains that will leverage unsupervised autonomy for the delivery of multi-mission capability to our customers, most notably the Dive-XL “Ghost Shark” in collaboration with the Royal Australian Navy. These projects require Operations Analysts with deep levels of relevant domain experience to provide direction to the talented software and hardware engineers. The Operations Analyst interfaces with external and internal stakeholders to identify needs, then deliver rigorous math and physics-based analytical products which will be used to guide product development and complement our demonstration events, leaving no doubt that Anduril builds systems that offer real and proximate military capability. Additionally, the Operations Analyst will engage with Software Engineers building the supporting mission system software to ensure that predicted customer needs are integrated into all facets of the platform; including everything from user experience through to autonomous behaviours.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Provide subject matter expertise (SME) input into the development and refinement of future advanced concepts for the Maritime division
  • Provide SME input into autonomous system and/or behavior design

  • Design, plan, and execute stakeholder engagement workshops to elicit customer needs and to inform training system requirements to support the deployment of our autonomous systems
  • Develop model-driven analysis, and often the models themselves, using advanced modeling and simulation capabilities, as inputs to critical design decisions for autonomous vehicle design, development, and employment
  • Develop a deep understanding of the transformational value of Anduril platforms, autonomy, simulation and perception products
  • Effectively convey the value of cutting edge technology and approaches, including but not limited to Artificial Intelligence, meshed edge computing, multi-agent autonomy and human machine teaming
  • Work as a member of an international, multi-disciplinary team, including as a subject matter expert and mentor for both Hardware and Software Engineers from differing backgrounds
