Qualifications
We are looking for someone unusually good at
- Executes with ownership. You do what you say, finish what you start, and take responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks. You don’t wait to be reminded.
- Honest and high-standard. You call things as they are, say “I don’t know” when you don’t, and care deeply about the quality of your work. You notice when something’s off and you fix it.
- Good judgment, independent thinker. You know what matters and what doesn’t, have reasons for the things you do, and question things that don’t make sense rather than accepting them at face value. You've handled something sensitive and gotten it right without being told exactly how.
- Clear communicator, low ego. You write well, say what you mean, and can say no when needed. You’re self-aware about your limits, humble enough to ask for help, and reliable enough to be trusted with real responsibility.
- Curious, adaptable, and genuinely bought in. You pick up context quickly, operate comfortably in ambiguity. You've worked closely enough with a senior technical leader that you started to develop genuine intuitions about their domain. You found yourself curious about the substance of their work, not because it was required, but because it made you better at yours.
- 3+ years of experience supporting a senior executive, technical leader, or founder in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to manage complex calendars, competing priorities, and sensitive information with care and discretion.
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills; you produce clear, polished work and represent the executive well.
- Comfortable working in or alongside a technical team; you don’t need to be an engineer, but intellectual curiosity and a willingness to engage with technical context will serve you well here.
- Experience in a high-growth, high-accountability environment where adaptability and initiative are genuinely valued.
