Each year, more than 7,500 pedestrians are killed by drivers in the U.S.—a number that has increased by 70% over the past decade. Despite growing awareness, most cities still struggle to curb dangerous driving. “Vision Zero” efforts across the country are falling short.

Obvio AI exists to change that.

We deploy solar-powered, AI-assisted cameras to enforce traffic laws where pedestrians are most vulnerable—automating enforcement in ways that police departments or traditional systems cannot. Our approach has already led to a dramatic reduction in reckless driving and improved safety for pedestrians, drivers, and law enforcement alike.

Founded by the team behind Motive’s AI dashcam, Obvio is backed by Bain Capital Ventures and Khosla Ventures. We recently raised a $22M Series A and are working with some of the most forward-thinking cities in the country. With meaningful revenue, a massive market, and strong policy momentum, we’re building the intelligence layer for safer streets globally.

About the Role

We’re hiring our first GTM Lead who will work directly with the Co-founder & President to grow the GTM function. We’re looking for someone who can help create leverage across the GTM team, wearing many early stage GTM hats, balancing strategic thinking with rapid execution. This is a high leverage, high motor, and high impact role to build the foundation for future growth at Obvio.

What You’ll Do

  • Think through and execute on new tactics to accelerate our GTM, which may range from building a community-relations function, hiring BDRs, or adding new approaches for our sales team
  • Shape Obvio’s story & narrative to influence lawmakers, municipal buyers, community constituents, and community groups to accelerate the adoption of novel traffic safety solutions
  • Serve as the leader of a geography, responsible for ensuring the coordination between sales, marketing, operations, and government relations
  • Drive market research for new products or determine new market-based requirements for our existing products; potentially outlining new business models & product features as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience, with demonstrated experience in both early stage GTM roles as well as in strategic domains (such as consulting/finance)
  • A keen intuition for understanding a customer’s experience and the ability to solve problems from a GTM perspective
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience representing a company externally
  • A quick study in unfamiliar areas, tackling new challenges, and executing effectively
  • Someone action-oriented and resourceful, who applies first-principles thinking with creativity
