About Obvio AI
Each year, more than 7,500 pedestrians are killed by drivers in the U.S.—a number that has increased by 70% over the past decade. Despite growing awareness, most cities still struggle to curb dangerous driving. “Vision Zero” efforts across the country are falling short.
Obvio AI exists to change that.
We deploy solar-powered, AI-assisted cameras to enforce traffic laws where pedestrians are most vulnerable—automating enforcement in ways that police departments or traditional systems cannot. Our approach has already led to a dramatic reduction in reckless driving and improved safety for pedestrians, drivers, and law enforcement alike.
Founded by the team behind Motive’s AI dashcam, Obvio is backed by Bain Capital Ventures and Khosla Ventures. We recently raised a $22M Series A and are working with some of the most forward-thinking cities in the country. With meaningful revenue, a massive market, and strong policy momentum, we’re building the intelligence layer for safer streets globally.
About the Role
We’re hiring a Business Operations professional to help drive the company’s next phase of growth. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution and partners closely with the founding team on market expansion, GTM strategy, and new business models.
This is a high-trust, entrepreneurial role for someone with strong analytical training and startup experience who wants to be closer to the decisions and outcomes than traditional strategy roles allow.
What You’ll Do
Research and evaluate new markets, including contracts, RFPs, and adjacent programs, to guide Sales and Marketing prioritization
Own and formalize the company’s research function, turning open questions into clear insights and recommendations
Partner with leadership to shape how we present financial and customer data across GTM reviews, board decks, and executive updates
Build high-quality strategic materials, including presentations and one-pagers, used internally and externally
Support new GTM experiments and business model development, turning early learnings into repeatable playbooks
Drive cross-functional initiatives that don’t neatly fit within a single team but are critical to company progress
Who You Are
Background in consulting, strategy, or a highly analytical role, with hands-on startup experience
Strong written and verbal communicator who can synthesize complexity into clarity
Comfortable operating in ambiguity with a bias toward action
Open to periodic travel and working closely with founders
Entrepreneurially minded and interested in growing into broader operating responsibility over time
Why This Role Matters
This role will shape where the company invests, how it goes to market, and how effectively it scales decision-making. You’ll have real ownership, broad exposure, and a clear path to increased responsibility as the company grows.
Why Obvio
Your work will help save lives and improve road safety
Series A of $22M led by Bain Capital
Fast-moving startup environment with meaningful ownership
Competitive compensation and early-stage equity
