Profound is on a mission to help companies understand and control their AI presence. We’re creating a new category at the intersection of AI, search, and brand visibility — helping brands measure and influence how they show up across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and beyond.

In our Deal Ops role, you will improve sales velocity and close rates by establishing a tight, scalable “close process”. You’ll own key processes that ensure deals are booked cleanly and efficiently, and you’ll partner across Sales, Legal, Finance, and Product to build a world-class deal operations engine.

What’s in it for you?

AI is changing the way we work. We’re looking for someone who is or can become a domain expert in the deal process, but is excited to deploy technology to scale much of this work. This would include building out knowledge bases, testing search & retrieval systems to get relevant data. Ultimately, it would be focused on automating much of the manual work traditionally done by sales. You should be a systems thinker and excited by the opportunity to design something new.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive completion of InfoSec / Security questionnaires for enterprise prospects.

  • Build a process for easily completing DPA (Data Processing Agreements) and other contract-related documentation.

  • Own the CPQ process from configuration to quote to close.

  • Build and maintain a knowledge base and answer engine to make requests for information (RFIs, RFPs) super efficient.

  • Own the process for easily completing RFPs and complex deal documentation.

  • Take ownership of the end-to-end booking process to maximize rep efficiency and ensure deals are booked cleanly and on time.

  • Identify and implement process improvements that accelerate deal velocity and improve close orchestration.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Deal Operations, or RevOps, preferably in a high-growth SaaS or enterprise software environment.

  • Highly process-oriented with a track record of building and optimizing deal operations workflows.

  • Strong technical fluency — comfortable working with CPQ tools, quote systems, contract documentation, and sales booking processes.

  • Excellent at partnering cross-functionally (Sales, Legal, Finance, Product) to align on deal execution.

  • Proactive, high-agency operator who takes ownership end-to-end and drives things through to completion.

  • You have a strong sense of deal velocity, close-rate improvement, operational excellence, and scalability.
