We’re looking for a performance-driven, visionary Art Director to lead our fast-growing, massive art department. The team is made up of motion designers and tech artists. In this role, your top priority will be ensuring that every mobile video ad meets the highest standards-both visually and strategically. As the final approver on all projects, you’ll set and maintain the creative bar-guiding your team toward excellence in design, storytelling, and execution.
You’ll act as the direct manager of the art department and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Customer Success, Operations, and executive leadership to ensure quality is embedded in every stage of the creative process-from concept through delivery.
Responsibilities:Creative Leadership & Team Management
- Act as direct manager of the art department, including Team Leads and the Assets Manager
- Provide vision, mentorship, and professional guidance to 7–10 Creative Team Leads
- Own and evolve team structures, pipelines, and processes to support growth and scalability
- Lead the professional development and career progression of creative leaders
- Provide creative support and direction across all levels of the department
Quality Assurance & Workflow Optimization
- Oversee quality control and final approvals for our creative output, ensuring visual excellence, brand consistency, and optimization based on results and performance
- Continuously improve and refine creative workflows for greater efficiency and collaboration
- Define and enforce creative standards, review frameworks, and best practices
Innovation & Cross-Team Collaboration
- Act as a creative problem solver, leveraging technical expertise and professional tools to address production challenges
- Identify trends and creative opportunities through awareness of the mobile games market and internal insights
- Collaborate closely with Product, Customer Success, Operations, and leadership to align on goals, timelines, and deliverables
- Partner with Creative Strategists on roadmaps, campaign strategy, and performance-driven innovation
