About the Role

We’re hiring a Head of Product Marketing to lead Vapi’s enterprise repositioning and build a best-in-class PMM function from the ground up. This role is critical to expanding beyond our massive developer adoption and translating that momentum into enterprise revenue.

You will own positioning, messaging, narrative, go-to-market readiness, and conversion improvement across the funnel. You’ll build the first version of a launch engine, partner deeply with Product and Sales, and ultimately expand and lead the Product Marketing team.

This role reports directly into Marketing leadership and operates with high visibility across the executive team.

What You’ll Do

  • Positioning & Narrative

    • Develop enterprise-grade product positioning, messaging, and narrative frameworks

    • Define Vapi’s ICP, personas, and value propositions for both developers and enterprise buyers

    • Conduct rigorous messaging testing directly with developers to validate narrative fit

    • Lead a company-wide rollout of updated positioning across all touchpoints

  • Go-to-Market Strategy & Launch Excellence

    • Build Vapi’s launch muscle: playbooks, processes, timelines, and cross-functional orchestration

    • Lead end-to-end product and feature launches tied to revenue impact

    • Partner with Developer Relations and Product to translate technical capabilities into compelling customer value

  • Sales Enablement & Funnel Conversion

    • Improve conversion rates across the sales funnel—developer signups → enterprise evaluations → closed-won

    • Create high-quality pitch materials, competitive positioning, objection-handling guides, and solution briefs

    • Increase pitch win rates through improved storytelling, differentiation, and buyer insights

  • Market Intelligence & Insights

    • Own competitive research, market trends, and customer insights

    • Identify opportunities to strengthen differentiation and inform product strategy

    • Provide clear and data-driven inputs to Product and Leadership

  • Team Leadership & Function Building

    • Build foundational PMM processes, frameworks, and cadences

    • Hire and develop the Product Marketing team over time

    • Create a culture of high-velocity testing and continuous iteration

Who You Are

  • 7+ years in Product Marketing, with experience at leading developer-first or enterprise SaaS companies

  • Background at world-class organizations such as Twilio, Cloudflare, Stripe, or similar

  • Proven ability to reposition a product and build enterprise-focused messaging

  • Strong experience converting PLG/developer-led adoption into enterprise revenue

  • Exceptional storyteller who can distill complex technical concepts into simple narratives

  • Highly cross-functional, with a track record of partnership across Product, Sales, and Engineering

  • High-agency, scrappy operator who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

  • Deep interest in AI agents, LLMs, voice technology, and infrastructure platforms

  • Nice to Have:

    • Experience managing or building a PMM team

    • Experience marketing AI, voice/speech technology, or developer tools

    • Ability to create technical demos, scripts, or content when needed
